The Scout Uniform
The Scout Uniform is dark blue with a green panel across the shoulders. (See pdf) The full uniform must include: the Scout shirt, navy trousers or shorts, Scout belt, black shoes and socks, scarf and woggle.
The shirt, woggle and belt can be purchased from the Scout Shop which is located at Branch: Baden Powell House, 581 Murray Street, West Perth. Their phone number is 9321 5259, and they are open Tues 9am-1pm, Thurs 12nn-4pm and Sat 9am-1pm.
Scouts are expected to wear their uniform to every meeting unless they have been instructed otherwise. Regular inspections occur at scout meetings so it's important to have the all the correct elements!
Everything needs to have your name clearly marked on it.
Additional costs:
When you are invested (formally join) you will receive a Hampton Park Scarf which will cost $13.00.
Also, we will give you a copy of the Scout Record Book. If you lose it, a new one will cost $10. (The record book lists all the awards, badges and levels needed in Scouting)
Hampton Park Scouts need to have an Activity shirt which is available from us and costs $18.00. (You'll only need one).
You will also need to have a dilly bag which is a cloth bag containing a plate, bowl, cup and cutlery that are non-breakable, plus a tea towel and chux wipes.
